Fees

 30 full hours (60 minutes each) per semester. 

Exclusive Privatissimum (One-on-One Mentorship) within the private top-floor studio in Heilbronn. 

Individual scheduling by personal arrangement. The hours can be flexibly distributed throughout the months of the summer or winter semester, or retrieved compactly as intensive block seminars (e.g., for large-scale painting projects, life drawing before the model, or excursions). 

Special events such as life drawing with a model, or plein-air painting excursions in the sense of a phenomenological art observation into nature or urban spaces, will be announced according to the curriculum. Any additional costs that may arise (e.g., for model fees or travel expenses) will be calculated by prior agreement. 

Professional working material is a rigorous part of the studio tradition and is to be provided by the student according to the individual curriculum. Specialized materials required during the sessions (such as pigments from the earth-color register or specific binding mediums) may be obtained directly from the studio stock at cost price by prior arrangement.

Tax Exemption Notice: The artistic instruction provided by Bernhard Karlowitz serves the purpose of vocational preparation, advanced training, or continuing education for art and its professions. It is therefore exempt from value-added tax (VAT) according to Section 4, No. 21, Letter a, Double-Letter bb of the German UStG. No sales tax will be added to the invoice. 

Additional Costs: Additional costs may apply where applicable, as outlined above. These will be calculated by prior agreement.

Upon successful admission, we will determine your study-specific focus (Masterclass Drawing or Masterclass Painting) and schedule your semester contingent.
